--If you dont have the latest CD... i HIGHLY recommend going out and INVESTING IN IT--NOTTT DOWNLOADING IT. Lets not steal from the hardworking talented musicians out there. We are FANS... not THIEVES. The more you purchase the awesomeness which is music, the more music is made--comprende? :)
Now moving on to my little remark about illegal piracy of music... WOW ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE IVE UPDATE THIS THING!! Its been well over a month... and a well over amount of things have happened in my life... I feel like this is an everyday thing (and i pray it continues to be an everyday thing)... God has blessed me so much, has taught me so much, has pulled me through when i thought i couldnt be pushed/pulled/kicked/dragged/etc through anymore. He has proven to be, and continues to be so faithful, so unfailing, so LOVING, and i dont even know where to start to thank Him. All i know is this--that i couldnt be more grateful for this Savior i have, for this God who laid His life down for me, who came back to life just to have a personal relationship with me, who gives me more than i deserve, who puts me through the fire to teach me and make me stronger but ultimately--for a God to love me so unconditionally that it absolutely makes NO sense. Thank you Jesus, thank you so much.
Today was matthew's 20th birthday, and we were out all day celebrating--meaning im tired. Buttttt i figured it has been so long that i would give you readers a brief update of my life...
Well I PASSED MY STATE BOARDS!! So i am officially a licensed cosmetologist in the state of PA. I got a friggin' 98%!!! If THATS not God, IONO WHAT IS!! I alsooooo got an apartment in East Village...which was another God situation which i cant even being to explain... butttt with everything falling into place, i am moving to NYC this coming monday...
So much has happened, I went to Boston--had an amazing/refreshing time with Dave and Emma... did a photoshoot--which was one of the greatest learning experiences to date... spoke to Nick Arrojo who wants me to come in for an interview a.s.a.p.... and hosted a yard sale for my youth group that was so successful that i couldnt thank God enough for the funds He helped provide to make this youth road trip possible...
I guess my main point through this entire entry is to never stop thanking God for EVERYTHING you have in your life. Its so simple to lose track of the good, and focus on all the things that need to be done, that didnt get done, or doesnt look like will ever get done. Dont stress, dont worry, dont freak out--take a breath, do a silly dance, blast your favorite song, and lay in the grass under the warm sun-- Because its in the time that we step aside and just remember the simple things of life that we see how much God is REALLY there. How no matter the circumstances in which we find ourselves in or the situation of where life has called you--God still has given you enough strength to recollect your thoughts and just smile at the mere thought of His goodness and all the things you DO have.
I pray you never take things for granted. I pray you never forget how much God loves you. I pray that no matter how far you have fallen, no matter how fast you want to run in the opposite direction of Him, that when you are ready to turn around and go back to the place you have come from--that God will be there waiting for you, smiling, even singing, for your return.
How blessed are we to have such a God? To WANT to love us, to WANT to forgive us, to WANT to have a personal and intimate relationship with us even when we dont deserve or want it too? Even as a Christian, i dont understand it, but all i know is--i hope i NEVER take THAT for granted.
Love
